I'm really sorry, guys, but I'm not going to be able to continue Sordid City Blues. I've been in denial about this for a while, but I'm distracted by fatherhood, I'm disillusioned with web comics, and my daughter has changed my life and beliefs enough that I'm having trouble relating to my characters and their storylines. But most importantly, I'm not having fun any more. I may return to SCB one day, but for now I'm leaving the comic where it is. I'm very sorry that I did this in the middle of a story arc; I should have stopped after Road. Anyway, any other projects I do will be linked prominently from this site. Also, I just finished prepress on the collection of my Road story arc. It should be available from Comixpress soon. |

A review. Mostly one about religon, though, which I am very closed-mouthed about outside the comic. Maybe because I start to sound like a dopey Catholic girl if I start to talk too seriously about my feelings about God.
This page was fun to draw, and I rather like these character designs. I've learned to give my males differnt body types, but unfortunatly too late for most of my current male cast members. Maybe I will draw a "Clean City Joys" chapter one day.
