At this point in my life, Luther’s religiosity really rubs me the wrong way. I guess it reflects the way I thought Christians were supposed to act, based on my weird Fundamentalist Lutheran/Evangelical/Mainline/Pentecostal upbringing.

Also, yes: rock and roll saved Luther’s mortal soul. I never really developed that, but it is totally Luther’s backstory.

OMG, guys, in the original art, Charlie’s sleeves were totally two different lengths on the same page!

Continuity errors happen, but — on the same page? What was I thinking?

There are probably dialogue errors, too, but given that I’m hundreds of pages away from the point where reading my own writing no longer makes me cringe, I won’t be checking that.

All right, I’m restoring these from book files, and making the e-book version while I work on it. The book files are in best condition, thought they are also all in black and white because I used to be obsessed with print media. Adding color will take some time.

Speaking of which, the existing print versions are all now out of print — I have a very few left, but I’m holding on to those for comics shows and/or nostalgia. I never found a way to make those things pay for themselves.

I wrote this prologue just for the print version of Stray Dog, and I honestly don’t remember what the point of it was. Probably just my usual habit of over-explaining things.
