Sordid City Blues is on indefinite hiatus so that I can focus on family life. I'll most likely return to it when my daughter is older, at least to wrap things up. I'll also be working on some less deadline-driven projects offline; anything relating to those will be announced here. Thank you all for your readership. -- Charles Schneeflock Snow |

After much deliberation, I've decided that it is time to bring this comic to a close. I've accomplished everything I set out to do, and I feel that it is time to move on. I'm going to continue to suspend work on Sordid City Blues until after Easter for religious reasons. No, seriously. After that, I've written a short chapter (about 3-4 pages) that will bring some closure to the two main couples, and that will be it. I've already started my next graphic novel, and I'm eager to put together a final print version of Sordid City Blues. I'm likely to return to these characters and their world, but not for some time. Sordid City Blues has consumed my life for over seven years, and I am proud of and pleased with the results. Working on it has brought me a lot of happiness, taught me a great deal about writing, drawing, and publishing, and has allowed me to meet many people whose friendship I value. I thank you all for your readership. I couldn't have done it without you. Best, Charles Schneeflock Snow, 2/15/10 |
